CMF by Nothing Headphone Pro brings bold design and scroll wheel controls

Nothing’s sub-brand CMF is stepping into the audio ring, and its debut headset isn’t playing it safe. The upcoming CMF Headphone Pro will launch on September 29, and early teasers suggest a design that leans more playful than polished.

Shared via CMF’s official X account, the first images show a set of over-ear headphones with a bright Cyan finish, darker control accents, and what looks like interchangeable orange ear pads. The color combo follows CMF’s usual punchy aesthetic, which has become a signature across its accessories.

But visuals aside, the real attention-grabber here is the scroll wheel and slider built directly into the earcups.

Garmin Fenix 8 Pro gets second update with more than just bug fixes

Garmin rolls out System Software 18.51 for Fenix 8 Pro, adding 12 upgrades including new touchscreen firmware for microLED models.

According to the teaser, the CMF Headphone Pro will include:

These aren’t the usual tap-and-guess touch controls. Instead, CMF seems to be leaning toward physical input methods, which could offer a more precise experience—especially for users tired of unresponsive swipes on plastic.

With Nothing’s mainline earbuds pushing transparent shells and minimal branding, the CMF line is veering in the opposite direction: bold, colorful, and unapologetically tactile.

It’s also unclear whether these headphones will support noise cancellation, Bluetooth multipoint, or lossless audio over USB-C, but CMF has left just enough mystery to keep fans guessing.

Here’s what we know so far:

Nothing’s CMF Headphone Pro might not reinvent audio, but it’s already doing one thing right—it doesn’t look like every other headphone on the shelf.

And that alone makes it one to watch.
